Top Two Picks

So, the kids break up today

(in half an hour to be precise!) and we’re properly into the final countdown!

Here are my top two gift ideas – if you’re still floundering….

I’ve been a fan of Stella & Dot jewellery for a long time – ever since my S & D Stylist friend Claire threw a party and I literally felt like I wanted every single piece of the jewellery! It’s like the ranges were actually made for me.  It’s stunning and Claire wears pieces from her collection every day on the school run, leaving us all salivating – and feeling like we should make a bit more effort with the school run!

I’ve got several pieces from various parties I’ve been to but have long coveted the Sutton necklace – possibly the most versatile piece of jewellery ever!  It can be worn 5 different ways as you can wear it long or short and take strands off.  The mixed metals version totally does it for me as I wear silver and gold jewellery, so it works with everything.  And I love that you can take the glitzy bits off to dress it down and make it a bit more “rock chick” or go all out for a glam evening or event.  It’s just the best necklace to fit in with my life!  It’s £110 but think how much wear you’ll get from it?  Top of my list this year!

Ever since we lived in LA I’ve been a huge fan of sheepskin boots.  With it’s hot climate that may seem surprising but, bizarrely they seem even more popular there than here! Sheepskin keeps your feet cool when it’s hot and warm when it’s cold.  Sadly, I know which of the two options we usually need here!  I wanted to get some boots for Trey but finding men’s sheepskin boots has been really hard – who knew?!  I LOVE these from J.U.S.T Sheepskin who I discovered when I bought a pair of their baby sheepskin boots when Kaya was born. They do half sizes, so you can get the best fit, and offer a variety of different sole options and boot lengths.  Nothing worse than chilly feet!  I love the mini-me versions they do for kids too!  Cosy AND cute!  Perfect!

Right – off to collect two VERY excited little Christmas elves from school (and I’m so excited myself I could literally BURST).

I get my babies to myself for a WHOLE TWO WEEKS – can’t remember being THIS excited for Christmas EVER!

So much to do, so little time but boy do I LOVE this time of year.

*does a little dance
